Oak Brook is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2008, with events scheduled throughout the year. On the calendar for July:
Oak Brook celebrates its cuisine:
Taste of Oak Brook, hosted by the village, takes place from 4 to 9 p.m. (followed by fireworks) on Thursday, July 3 at the Oak Brook Polo Grounds, 700 Oak Brook Rd. Admission is free. The event features treats from Oak Brook’s restaurants, music and Ronald McDonald. For information, call (630) 368-5000.
